Care for Older pets

One of my passions is customizing plans to care for cats and dogs as they age. Watching a beloved pet change as they get older can be distressing. Luckily, there are many tools at our disposal to help our furry friends as they get along in years.

Many issues can arise as pets reach their golden years. Changes to mobility, appetite, cognitive function, digestion, eyesight and body condition can all cause concern. It’s important to note these changes and talk to your vet about your concerns.

A personalized plan can be tailored to your individual pet to help them to enjoy their golden years!

Here are some examples of tools to help with changes to your aging pet:

  • Joint support and protection

  • Pain relief

  • Muscle support

  • Supplements to help with cognitive function

  • Supplements and/or medications to help with anxiety

  • Nutritional support for the aging body

  • Enrichment activities

  • And more!
